Graded Music for Mandolin is a collection of tunes and compositions which cover a wide variety of technical aspects and musical styles. The pieces have been loosely placed in groups. Each group focuses on a different technical, stylistic or musical aspect. The techniques range from alternate stroke on one string, melodies which are accompanied by open strings or fretted notes, tremolo to arpeggio techniques. Pieces using less common time signatures or scales can also be found as well as pieces in different styles, some of these been grouped into sets.
