This edition tries to give a clear transcript of the handwritten manuscript of Eileen Pakenham. In her hand, many staccato markings were added which in this edition are interpreted as “non tremolo”.
All tremolo notes are shown. Notes which are written under one slur should be played using a continuous tremolo. Performance markings (e.g. dynamics, ritardandi) which have been added are written in brackets.
