On her journey through Rajasthan Manuela Frescura was inspired by the moods, noises, sounds and smells of nature, the impressive cultural sites, the hustle and bustle of the cities and markets, the sounds of traditional as well as contemporary Indian music.
The ten duos on the one hand they are quiet preludes or fantasies, on the other hand they are fast rhythmic duos in changing time signatures, a dialogue between the two plucked instruments. An accompanying text with each piece helps to interpret it in the intended atmosphere, a rhythm instrument (e. g. Darabuca or Bongo) conveys a special charm.
The duos can also be played with other melody instruments and accompanied by guitar or mandola. Suitable for concert and competition. Level of difficulty: medium
